College Feels Uncertain — and So Does Everything Else

College feels uncertain—and so does everything else right now. Plans aren’t settled, conversations feel unfinished, and uncertainty seems to touch every part of this season.

CHECK FIRST
Before trying to resolve the uncertainty, pause and ask:
Am I expecting clarity during a time that’s naturally unsettled?
Are multiple transitions overlapping at once?
What has become clearer—even if not everything?
Am I reacting to uncertainty itself, rather than a specific problem?
Uncertainty often increases during change, even when things are unfolding normally.

THEN
Choose a way to relate to this season.

Option 1: Accept uncertainty as part of transition
This stage doesn’t require full clarity to move forward.

Option 2: Focus on what’s immediate
You don’t need answers for everything at the same time.

Option 3: Allow plans to remain flexible
Flexibility can be a strength during this phase.

PAUSE
Not knowing everything right now doesn’t mean you’re behind. It means you’re in the middle of change.

NOTES / REFLECTION
If it helps, consider:
What feels most uncertain right now?
What feels steady despite the uncertainty?
What can wait to become clearer later?
